PETRONAS National Interstate U-18 Mixed Team Championships 2025 reached its climax yesterday as Team Penang edged past Johor 4-3 in a thrilling final to successfully defend their title, lifting the championship trophy to thunderous cheers from the home crowd! （中文往下）

The final was nothing short of breathtaking, with every point fiercely contested. Both teams fought with relentless determination, igniting waves of cheers and applause that electrified the Penang Badminton Hall.

With this historic triumph, Penang’s young shuttlers not only safeguarded their home ground pride but also brought immense glory to the state. Having reached the summit, this new generation of players is expected to continue striving for greater heights. The Penang Badminton Association (PBA) extended its heartfelt congratulations and blessings to the victorious team.

Johor finished as runners-up, followed by Selangor in third place and Sabah in fourth. The champions walked away with RM8,000, while the second, third, and fourth-placed teams received RM4,000, RM2,000, and RM1,000 respectively.

The national-level tournament, which kicked off last Wednesday, drew more than 300 talented youth shuttlers from across the country. The scale of the event, coupled with Penang’s spirited title win, not only highlighted the strength and potential of the next generation of Malaysian badminton but also set an auspicious tone ahead of the Penang Badminton Association’s centenary celebration to be held on November 22 at the Setia SPICE Convention Centre.

2025年国家石油公司（PETRONAS）全国18岁以下混合团体羽毛球锦标赛昨日迎来高潮，槟城队在激烈鏖战中以4比3力克柔佛队，在主场观众的热烈欢呼声中高举冠军奖杯，卫冕成功！

这场决赛可谓惊心动魄，每一分都打得极具张力，双方选手在场上拼尽全力，掀起一波又一波的呐喊声与掌声，气氛火爆至极。

凭借这场历史性的胜利，槟城年轻羽球健儿不仅成功捍卫主场荣誉，更为槟州赢得了无上的荣耀，这批生力军登顶后，将继续努力迈向更高境界，槟州羽总恭贺他们并给予祝福。

亚軍落在柔佛手中，季军为雪兰莪，沙巴获得殿军。冠军奖金为8000令吉，依序为4000、2000及1000令吉。

全国18岁以下混合团体羽毛球锦标赛是在上周三开幕，吸引来自全国逾300名优秀青年选手角逐，本次锦标赛的盛况，加上槟城队奋勇夺冠，不仅彰显羽坛新生代的实力与潜力，也为槟羽总将于11月22日在槟城国际会展中心盛大举办的成立百年庆典取得好彩头！
