Our sincere appreciation goes to Penang State EXCO for Sports, YB Daniel Gooi Zi Sen , for officiating the opening ceremony of the Penang Badminton Association’s 100th Anniversary Special Commemorative Event — the Century Cup team tournament.
We also thank Greatech Technology CEO, Dato’ Sri E.K. Tan, Penang State Sports Council Director, Harry Chai Heng Hua, as well as all local and international friends who joined us. Today is undeniably a milestone in Penang’s badminton history.
Tomorrow evening, the Penang Badminton Association’s Centennial Gala Dinner will take place on 22 November at the SPICE Convention Centre, where over 2,000 guests from Malaysia and abroad are expected to gather and celebrate this historic moment.
Doors will open at 4:00 PM, where guests may visit the Hall of Fame Exhibition and admire the trophies and memorabilia of legendary players who once brought glory to Penang and Malaysia. It promises to be a visually captivating and emotionally memorable experience.
The gala dinner will officially begin at 7:00 PM, featuring an exquisite dining experience and a lineup of exciting performances.
